Hey, I’m Katelyn — a creative strategist and copywriter with 10+ years of experience in making fun and smart content that intrigues fandoms and shifts culture.
I’ve loved the internet since the Xanga days, but grew passionate about (and good at!) merging cultural trends, data, and creativity at WPP’s Truffle Pig where I helped rebrand Oxygen online and live-Tweeted episodes of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”. I then led the social media team at NBCUniversal’s Universal Kids before becoming a full-time freelancer in 2019.
Since then I’ve worked on everything from 360 campaigns with Hulu Greenhouse; Apple TV+, SHOWTIME, and TBS campaigns at GLOW; day-to-day social creative for IHG Hotels & Resorts; a global live OTT news channel with the creators of “Love Island”; and top NFT Discord communities during their 2021 prime.
