Role: In-House Contract Copywriter at Hulu
Assignment: I was responsible for helping establish the Huluween strategy and voice. Once the strategy was set, we presented it to alllll the stakeholders and then brought Huluween to life on-platform, on the site, in two activations, and throughout ads across all channels.
I wrote all the copy, went to my first haunted house, and had a ton of fun helping the UX team create a custom site users could play with to uncover their next horror obsession. I sadly can’t tell you about the performance, but let’s just say it was the good kind of chills.

To make sure we didn’t scare anyone away, we created this scare-level feature to help users pick the right content for them.
ACTIVATIONS
We took over the streets of the iconic Salem, MA Halloween festival and the LA Haunted Hayrides with scare booths, photo opps, creepy face paintings, Hulugans mirroring Hulu’s top horror content, and a Dragstravaganza Halloween live performance. .
